Victoria Beckham recently celebrated her father, Anthony Adams’ 80th birthday with an intimate family event attended by several members of the extended Beckham clan, including David Beckham and the couple’s other children.
However, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz were notably absent from the gathering, continuing a pattern of distance that has fuelled ongoing speculation about tensions within the family.
The absence comes amid reports of a prolonged estrangement between Brooklyn and his parents, Victoria and David Beckham, which has now reportedly lasted for over a year.
Around the same time as the celebration, Nicola Peltz shared a series of Instagram posts documenting a salon visit.
In the caption, she wrote, “My best friend took me to the salooon [sic],” while referring to Brooklyn, who appeared in the background of the content. The post also included images of her hair transformation and pink roses, reportedly gifted by her husband.
While the post was lighthearted, it quickly drew criticism online, with some social media users questioning the couple’s apparent closeness and tendency to spend most of their time together.
“Do you do everything with your husband? Do you have any friends?” one user commented, while another wrote, “Beautiful but do you ever let him be his own person… or contact his parents?” A further comment added, “They’re practically glued to each other.”
The ongoing public reaction reflects continuing fascination with the Beckham family dynamic, particularly amid reports of strained relations following Brooklyn and Nicola’s 2022 wedding in Florida.
The ceremony was previously linked to tensions between Nicola and Victoria Beckham, which reportedly contributed to a widening rift within the family.
