Television personality and dating expert Devyn Simone has been added to the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City for its upcoming sixteenth season, a source close to the Bravo reality series has confirmed to Deadline. Simone will appear in the friend role rather than as a full cast member.

A familiar face returns to RHONY

Simone is no stranger to the franchise, having made an appearance during Season 13. She had also previously tested for a position on the cast ahead of the show's 2023 reboot, making her Season 16 appearance a long-anticipated addition for fans of both the personality and the series.

She will join returning RHONY stars Erin Lichy, Sai de Silva, and Jessel Taank, as well as new additions Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond, and Daisy Toye.

Carole Radziwill, who featured in the show before its 2023 reboot, is also set to return to the franchise as a friend.

From The Real World to reality television veteran

Simone launched her television career as a cast member on The Real World: Brooklyn in 2009, with the show following her ambitions to break into the entertainment industry.

She subsequently took part in MTV's The Challenge before going on to establish herself as a familiar presence across a range of programmes.

Between 2017 and 2022, she served as a regular guest panellist on The Wendy Williams Show, offering her views on the latest in pop culture.

Her hosting experience has since expanded considerably, with appearances as a dating expert and matchmaker on The Sherri Shepherd Show, Today, and Good Morning America.
