Dua Lipa, Callum Turner reportedly planning lavish three-day wedding in Italy
The couple is reportedly days away from a lavish three-day wedding celebration in Italy
Pop superstar Dua Lipa and actor Callum Turner are reportedly preparing to tie the knot next week, with plans underway for an extravagant three-day wedding celebration in Italy.
According to reports, the couple who announced their engagement last year initially envisioned an intimate ceremony.
However, those plans have reportedly evolved into a larger, more luxurious affair featuring multiple events spread across several venues.
A source cited by The Sun's Bizarre column claimed that the pair have rented several exclusive locations for the festivities, with details being kept tightly under wraps due to security concerns and heightened public interest surrounding the couple.
"The original plan was for an intimate wedding, but it is now going to be a massive, luxurious affair across three days," the source said, adding that fans are eager to catch a glimpse of the celebrations.
The report also suggests that Lipa and Turner have been preparing for the occasion with regular workouts at a private London members' club, while the singer has reportedly shared her excitement about finally walking down the aisle.
A number of high-profile guests are expected to attend the wedding, including fellow musicians Charli XCX and Tove Lo.
Music legend Elton John has also reportedly been tipped to perform during the celebrations. Lipa previously collaborated with John on the hit 2021 song Cold Heart.
The couple publicly confirmed their engagement in an interview with British Vogue after months of speculation about their relationship status.
Speaking about the engagement at the time, Lipa described the milestone as "very exciting," adding that the prospect of growing old together and remaining best friends forever felt "really special."
More recently, the Grammy-winning singer opened up about her happiness during an interview with Harper's BAZAAR, saying that she has embraced love more fully than ever before.
"I love love. It is a beautiful thing. It's a really inspiring thing," Lipa said, reflecting on how her engagement has encouraged her to lower her guard and allow herself to be vulnerable.
Neither Lipa nor Turner has publicly confirmed the reported wedding date or details of the Italian celebration.
