Pete Davidson seen with daughter Scottie days after ex Elsie Hewitt's solo parent posts

Pete Davidson has been pictured spending one-on-one time with his daughter, Scottie, following comments from his former partner Elsie Hewitt that suggested she was raising the baby largely by herself.

The comedian, 32, was photographed pushing Scottie in a pram at a park in New York City on Monday, in an image obtained by DeuxMoi. Davidson wore dark sunglasses and dressed casually in a sweatshirt and white trousers for what appeared to be a relaxed solo outing with his daughter.

Hewitt's solo parenting posts

The sighting follows a series of TikTok videos posted by Hewitt, 30, in which she documented her experience caring for Scottie alone. On Thursday, she revealed she had not slept enough the night before, and spoke about changing Scottie's nappy in the early hours of the morning as well as preparing homemade purées for her.

Hewitt had also made headlines when she shared on her Instagram Stories that she was on the lookout for an assistant or nanny to support her. In a separate video shared with her followers, she said, "I have a baby to take care of. I have to work and make money."

She added, "I'm doing it on my own, which is hard."

Hewitt and Davidson split last month just five months after welcoming Scottie in December 2025.

Source defends Davidson

A source close to the former couple told Page Six that the Saturday Night Live alumnus had been covering all costs associated with his ex-partner and daughter, including rent, living expenses, and health insurance.

"They may have split but all he wants is for Elsie to be happy and in a good place," the source said.

"His main priority right now is making sure that Elsie and Scottie are looked after, so it's utterly confusing to everyone who knows them why she would possibly post anything about him not supporting her," they continued.

"Obviously, they have had personal disagreements and there has been a breakdown in the relationship but he is fully committed to being a good dad."

Davidson's support network

A separate source told Page Six that Davidson — who has been open about his struggles with mental health — has been receiving considerable support from his fellow comedians and is managing well in the wake of the break-up.

"The support he's gotten from people has been great. Everyone at the [Kevin Hart] roast, his friends. He's getting tons of support," they said.

Hewitt appears in good spirits

Hewitt, for her part, also appears to be in a positive place. Last week, she shared photographs of herself on Instagram looking well and cheerful whilst posing on a blanket at a park, dressed in a vibrant red frock and displaying radiant skin. She received a wave of compliments in the comments, with one follower writing, "scottie's mommy is a hottie."
