Post Malone paid an emotional tribute to late musician Oliver Tree during a recent stop on his BIG ASS Stadium Tour Part 2, dedicating his Toronto concert to the artist following his tragic death in a helicopter crash.

The 30-year-old rapper and singer, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, told the audience that the show was intended as a celebration of Tree’s life and legacy.

“This concert is a celebration of the life of an absolutely beautiful, beautiful man,” Malone said on stage, describing Tree as a “gentleman” whose work and creativity left a lasting impact.

“He was so beautiful and inspired the world with his art… we lost a beautiful soul,” he added, looking toward the sky as he addressed the crowd.

Malone continued his tribute, saying, “I just want you to know, dude, that we love you so very much… we’re just gonna have a great night and celebrate this gentleman.”

As part of the emotional moment, the singer poured his drink onto the stage in a symbolic gesture of respect and remembrance.

Tree reportedly died on June 14 in a helicopter crash in Brazil that claimed multiple lives after two aircraft collided mid-air.

The incident also reportedly involved Argentinian YouTuber Gaspar Prim, known online as Gaspi.

The late artist had been in Brazil as part of international tour activities and was promoting his fourth studio album, Love You Madly Hate You Badly, following recent performances in São Paulo earlier in the month.
