Paulina Porizkova marries writer Jeff Greenstein after year-long engagement
The supermodel announced her marriage to Jeff Greenstein on social media, marking a new chapter
Paulina Porizkova has officially married television writer Jeff Greenstein, celebrating a new chapter in her life after the couple exchanged vows in Italy.
The 61-year-old model and author announced the happy news on Friday by sharing wedding photos through Czech Elle magazine’s Instagram account.
The images captured the newlyweds sharing a kiss and proudly showing off their wedding rings.
The announcement quickly drew congratulatory messages from friends and fellow celebrities, including model Elle Macpherson, who wrote, “So thrilled. Huge heart smiles here!” Former French First Lady Carla Bruni also shared her well wishes, commenting, “Congratulations!”
Alongside the wedding announcement, the couple reflected on the lengthy process of making their Italian ceremony official.
“Getting legally married in Italy as an Italian is complicated enough,” they wrote. “When you add the combo of two foreign people, you’re talking about roughly seven months of paperwork. And the fun seemingly never ends, even once you’re declared married.”
The wedding comes one year after Greenstein proposed in July 2025, following two years of dating.
At the time, Porizkova revealed the engagement on Instagram by showing off her diamond ring and writing simply, “He asked!”
The marriage marks Porizkova’s second. She was previously married to Cars frontman Ric Ocasek from 1989 until the pair separated in 2018. Together, they share two sons, Jonathan and Oliver.
Ocasek died in 2019 at the age of 75, with Porizkova discovering his body while the two were still living in the same home despite their separation.
In the years following his death, Porizkova spoke candidly about her grief, admitting she struggled to imagine moving forward after losing her longtime partner.
She also revealed that returning to the dating world proved challenging before eventually finding love again with Greenstein.
The couple made their relationship public in May 2023, and their romance has since culminated in their intimate Italian wedding.
