Prince Harry shares Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s surprising favourite TV show
The Duke of Sussex shares sweet details about his children's interests and their support for his charitable work
Prince Harry has offered a rare glimpse into life at home with Meghan Markle and their two children, revealing that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are devoted fans of the British television series Junior Bake Off.
The Duke of Sussex made the revelation during an appearance on ITV's This Morning, where he spoke with presenter Alison Hammond while discussing his family and charitable work.
When the conversation turned to television, Harry shared one of his children's favourite shows.
“By the way, my kids love Junior Bake Off,” he said.
A surprised Hammond responded, “Stop it! Do they?”
Harry confirmed they do, adding that he is just as enthusiastic about the series.
“Absolutely love it. And I love it as well,” he said. “It's far better than the grown-up version.”
The 41-year-old royal also reflected on the close bond he shares with his family when asked whether Meghan and their children express pride in his charitable efforts.
Although he admitted they do not say it every day, Harry said the feeling is mutual.
“They don't tell me every day that they're proud of me. But yeah, I'm proud of them. They're proud of me.”
He added simply,“I love my family.”
Harry made the comments during his latest visit to the United Kingdom, where he also celebrated the 20th anniversary of WellChild's specialist nursing program at Birmingham Children's Hospital.
During the visit, the Duke met young patients and hospital staff, spending time with children receiving treatment and thanking nurses for their work.
While speaking with 12-year-old patient Alec Hill, Harry revealed another detail about his eldest child, saying the pair share a love of Lego.
“Do you know who's obsessed with Lego? My son Archie—and he's a master builder,” Harry said.
