Meghan Markle celebrates Emmy nomination for Netflix lifestyle series
Meghan Markle celebrated receiving her first Daytime Emmy nomination for her popular Netflix lifestyle series
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, celebrated her first-ever Emmy nomination on Tuesday after her Netflix series With Love, Meghan was nominated for an award. The lifestyle programme secured a Daytime Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Lifestyle Program category for the upcoming ceremony.
The Daily Mail reported that the 44-year-old former actress shared her reaction to the news on social media. Writing on her official Instagram account, the former Suits star posted a promotional poster for the series and thanked the production staff. "A huge congratulations to the amazing crew, producers, and team who worked on With Love, Meghan on Netflix," she wrote. "We are nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lifestyle Series!"
The production will compete against A Different Breed, George to the Rescue, The Motherhood, and The Wizard of Paws for the lifestyle category prize. The final winner will be announced at the 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, which is scheduled to take place at the Hollywood Palladium on October 30, 2026.
The Duchess of Sussex originally premiered the first season of the nominated television project, which highlights her personal interests in culinary arts, home gardening, and guest hosting, in March 2025. The second season of the show was filmed immediately after the first and debuted in August 2025, with a festive holiday special airing later that December.
While television industry sources indicate that Netflix currently has no plans to produce a third full season of the lifestyle programme, the Duchess may still create occasional seasonal specials. Although streaming executives concluded their retail partnership with her consumer lifestyle brand, As Ever, earlier this year, they continue to collaborate on television and film projects. These ongoing developments include a planned cinematic film adaptation of the Afghanistan war memoir No Way Out, which the royal couple is currently co-developing.
