Rihanna and A$AP Rocky stepped out for a date at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final on Sunday, July 19, as they watched Spain defeat Argentina 1-0 to lift the trophy.

The couple were spotted in the stands at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, temporarily renamed New York New Jersey Stadium for the tournament. They appeared in good spirits while sitting alongside NBA star Jalen Brunson and his wife, Ali Brunson.

Rihanna, 38, opted for a relaxed yet stylish look, wearing a brown Vetements football jersey with cargo shorts, beige stiletto boots and sunglasses. She completed the outfit with a crossbody bag and wore her hair in a ponytail.

A$AP Rocky, 37, also embraced a casual look, pairing an oversized white T-shirt with denim trousers and a black cap.

During the match, the couple briefly appeared on the stadium's jumbotron as they remained focused on the action while chatting with each other.

Couple attend final after Rihanna's surprise performance

The World Cup final featured an 11-minute halftime show curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, with performances from Shakira, Burna Boy, Madonna, BTS and Justin Bieber before Spain secured its second World Cup title.

The outing comes less than a week after Rihanna surprised fans by joining Jay-Z on stage during his 30th anniversary concert in New York City. She performed their 2010 collaboration "Run This Town" before treating the audience to a solo performance of her 2015 hit "Bitch Better Have My Money."

Last month, Rihanna also supported A$AP Rocky during a stop on his Don't Be Dumb tour in Los Angeles, where she was seen in the audience with their 2-year-old son, Riot Rose.
