Dean Cain hints at possible political career in Nevada

Dean Cain has revealed he is considering a future in politics, saying he would run for office in Nevada if he believed he could make a meaningful difference for the state and the country.

The Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman star shared his political ambitions during an interview with Fox News, explaining that his decision would be guided by a desire to help people rather than seek power or prestige.

"If I think I can make Nevada better, perhaps I'll do it," Cain said. "If I thought I could come in, do some good for this state of Nevada and for this country, I would do it."

The 59-year-old actor moved from Los Angeles to Las Vegas three years ago and said he has embraced his new home, describing the city as the entertainment capital of the world with a growing film industry.

Cain also criticised California's population decline, saying many people have left the state in recent years.

His latest remarks come after he announced plans to be sworn in as an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent.

Cain said he made the decision after speaking with officials following public interest generated by a television interview.

The actor, who is already a sworn deputy sheriff and reserve police officer, said he hopes to contribute to immigration enforcement, arguing that the current U.S. immigration system is "broken."

Cain also voiced support for President Donald Trump's immigration policies, saying he believes the administration is carrying out the agenda voters endorsed and that he wants to do his part to help achieve those goals.
