SAG-AFTRA strike has not impacted on release of 'House Of The Dragon' season 2, announced by HBO.

HBO has announced the thrilling return of highly awaited series House of the Dragon Season 2.
The streaming juggernaut also revealed that the production on the second season of House of The Dargon has been never been influenced by the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.
The Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin provides an update on the House of the Dragon season 2, clarifying that filming is continued despite the strike by the Writers Guild of America.
Martin further revealed in a blog post that, “the scripts for the eight s2 episodes were all finished months ago, long before the strike began, Every episode has gone through four or five drafts and numerous rounds of revisions, to address HBO notes, my notes, budget concerns, etc. There will be no further revisions.”
The actors who are part of SAG-AFTRA, the U.S. labor union, went on strike,on July 13 and due to this ongoing situation, many projects are facing production delay, until a new contract is formed.
It is repoted that House of the Dragon 's season 2 production was not affected by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, because most of actors on the series are under equity contracts and not SAG-AFTRA, so they are still able to film.
However, the dates of the premiere of season 2 has not announced yet.
The co-creator, and executive producer Ryan Condal said in an April 2023 statement, “House of the Dragon has returned. We are thrilled to be shooting again with members of our original family as well as new talents on both sides of the camera.”
The HBO and HBO Max content CEO Casey Bloys recently told Variety that it is a “good guess” that House of the Dragon season 2 will premiere in 2024.
