Inside Joey King timeless and breathtaking wedding to Steven Piet in Mallorca

Joey King has exchanged wedding vows with her lover Steven Piet in an intimate destination wedding ceremony in Mallorca on September 8, 2023.

Taking to her Instagram account on Friday, The Kissing Booth actress reposted the breathtaking glimpses from her exotic wedding, which were initially shared by the Vogue Weddings account.

In first photo, which was from the couple’s rehearsal dinner, Piet was captured hugging King from behind. 

While the next photo featured the actress peeking through the cape of her wedding gown.

King was also accompanied by her bridesmaids in one of the clicks, where the  bride squad can was holding their respective flower bouquets.

For his big day the Uncle John director wore a groom suit based on black pants, cream coat with white buttoned down shirt underneath.

“Actor @joeyking and director @stevenpiet have officially tied the knot! “Looking out from the altar at all of our friends and family was an unforgettable moment,” Joey says. “We truly felt so perfectly present and soaking in every detail was pure magic.” The couple's stunning wedding held in a villa in Mallorca was “The Great Gatsby,” Spanish-style,” wrote the Vogue Weddings account in the caption of their post.

King also reposted a goofy video on her Instagram story which was shared by her sister Kelliss King, in the hilarious clip the bride can be seen sitting on a chair and mimicking someone with a pipe like prop in her mouth.

The Princess actress wore four ensembles from the Oscar de la Renta’s bridal collection, which she rocked throughout her wedding weekend.

For the wedding day, the 24-year-old actress wore a dramatic strapless neckline and large fabric flower-petal paillettes on the gown. 

For the rehearsal dinner King chose a lacy mid length dress in white, with flower lace work all over it and a cape.

Joey King and Steven Piet Relationship:

Joey King and director Steven Piet’s first met on the set of the Hulu series The Act, and their friendship was quickly formed.

It has already been three years to the couple's dating when Steven proposed King in February 2022, on their trip to Joshua Tree to mark their third anniversary.

Following their engagement, the loved up couple started planning their wedding, with both Joey and Piet wanting to tie the knot overseas.

They finally chose La Fortaleza in Mallorca, as it felt like the Spanish version of The Great Gatsby.

Who is Steven Piet?

Steven Piet is an American director, producer and writer born in Chicago, Illinois, he graduated from Savannag College of Art and Design in 2012 in film, cinema and visual studies.

He kicked of his career as a cinematographer with various projects like Girl Rising, The Last Rites of Joe May and I Melt with You.

In 2015, Piet finally made his directorial debut with indie thriller Uncle John.
