Bronny James makes remarkable recovery after cardiac arrest, misses first USC practice
Bronny James showed his support for his USC teammates by attending a recent football game

USC basketball player Bronny James, the eldest son of NBA superstar LeBron James, missed his first season practice as the start of the college basketball season approaches.
The 18-year-old is on the road to recovery following a cardiac arrest incident during a basketball workout at the university in late July.
USC Basketball head coach Andy Enfield provided an update on Bronny's condition, stating, "Bronny's doing very well, but we just can't comment on anything medically. He's going to class and doing extremely well in school, and we're really excited for him."
In August, the James family shared that Bronny had been diagnosed with "an anatomically and functionally significant congenital heart defect," which had led to the sudden cardiac arrest incident.
The family emphasized that this condition could and would be treated.
Medical evaluations conducted at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the Mayo Clinic identified the probable cause of the cardiac arrest.
The family expressed confidence in Bronny's full recovery and his eventual return to basketball.
LeBron James, in a statement on Twitter, expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from fans.
He assured everyone that the family was safe and healthy, thanking them for their support.
Despite missing practice, Bronny showed his support for his USC teammates by attending a recent football game and posing for photos with fans and the USC spirit leaders.
Bronny's commitment to USC earlier this year marked a significant milestone for the James family, as he became the first member to attend college.
LeBron James spoke proudly of his son's decision, highlighting the special nature of the moment.
