Taylor Swift latest hit song achieves record-breaking Spotify stream

Taylor Swift, who is no stranger to setting records, has once again made headlines by shattering the Spotify record for the most streams in a single day.

On Saturday, Spotify issued an official statement confirming that the Lover crooner had achieved the remarkable feat of securing the highest number of streams in a single day in the history of the streaming platform with the release of 1989 (Taylor's version).

Variety Magazine reported that while Spotify refrained from disclosing the precise count of album streams, they did disclose that Slut! (Taylor's Version) made a notable debut, securing the top spot in the United States with 5.2 million streams and achieving a global premiere with 11.3 million streams.

As per the statement, “Slut! (Taylor’s Version) debuted in the U.S. at No. 1 with 5.2 million streams and globally with 11.3 million.”

On the international rankings, a non-Vault song titled Style (Taylor's Version) made its debut with a remarkable 11.6 million streams.

The Blank Space crooner has surpassed her own prior record for the most daily streams, which she initially established following the release of her Midnights album.

Taylor's latest album is receiving adoration from her fanbase and has undeniably caused a significant stir within the music world.

In fact, all 21 positions in the daily U.S. top 50 rankings of the music streaming platform on Saturday were dominated by the 21 tracks from her album 1989 (Taylor's version).

For the unversed, the recently launched version of 1989 includes newly recorded renditions of the 13 initial tracks, along with three additional songs Wonderland, New Romantics, and You Are In Love.

 The new album also includes five selections from the Vault collection, Is It Over Now?, Now That We Don't Communicate, Say Don't Depart, Suburban Legends, and Slut!.
