Matthew Perry left the entertainment world in tears after news of his shocking demise at the age of 54 was reported on Saturday.
Perry, known for his iconic role as Chandler Bing from the 90s hit sitcom Friends, who was found unresponsive at his Los Angeles home on Oct 28, received a touching tribute from the comedy-satire show Saturday Night Live!
On Saturday evening, SNL — which Perry also hosted on Oct. 4, 1997, (with musical guest Oasis) — paid a heartfelt tribute to the actor with his name appeared alongside a black and white portrait of him.
Matthew Perry's episode of SNL episode included a Friends parody skit, in which Perry played Joey (the role originally played by Matt LeBlanc in Friends) and cast member Colin Quinn played Chandler.
This week’s SNL episode was hosted by Nate Bargatze with musical guest the Foo Fighters.

Matthew Perry was found dead at his LA home on Saturday. According to TMZ, law enforcement sources also confirmed Perry's death to the Los Angeles Times.
The report also revealed that there was no foul play involved, and their sources said first responders were called to the residence for cardiac arrest.

He captioned the post, “Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I’m Mattman.”
Matthew Perry rose to fame for his role as Chandler Bing in Friends. The show’s other cast included Courteney Cox as Monica Geller, Matt LeBlanc as Joey Tribbiani, Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay, David Schwimmer as Ross Geller and Jennifer Aniston as Rachel Green.
