Matthew Perry’s sudden death left the world in utter shock after the Friends famed actor was found unresponsive in his Los Angeles home on Saturday.

Following his sudden death, all eyes have been on the other cast members of the show, who are yet to break their silence on the tragic loss of their co-star Matthew Perry.

Matthew Perry, globally known for playing the iconic role of Chandler Bing on the hit 90s sitcom Friends, starred alongside Jennifer Aniston as Rachel Green, Courteney Cox as Monica Geller, Matt LeBlanc as Joey Tribbiani, Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay and David Schwimmer as Ross Geller.

As per the reports, the cast are “reeling” about the untimely death of their “brother.” Showbiz correspondent Kinsey Schofield told GB News on Monday that the main cast members are set to release a joint statement in the coming days.

“New information is that the core cast of Friends is currently working on a joint statement they can release,” she shared.

“According to sources they are reeling about the death of Matthew Perry, they say that he was their brother, and that they fiercely protected him through some of his toughest times.

“They believe that this is incredibly unfair, according to one of Lisa Kudrow's friends, and no one saw this coming because they felt like he was in a really good place that he had one of his best years,” Kinsey continued.

‘Friends’ creators on Matthew Perry’s death:

Friends co-creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane and director Kevin Bright issued a joint statement following Matthew’s death on Saturday.

“We are shocked and deeply, deeply saddened by our beloved friend Matthew’s passing,” they said in a statement, via Deadline. “It still seems impossible.”

Moreover, David Schwimmer was also clicked making a peace sign outside of his New York City home on Sunday.

A source close to Lisa Kudrow reportedly said that she suspects Matthew may have died after taking medication which responded badly to the hot temperature of the water he was found dead in.

Matthew Perry’s family statement:

Matthew Perry’s parents have said they are “heartbroken” following the “tragic loss” of their son.

“We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother. Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend,” they said in a statement.

Matthew Perry is survived by his father John Bennett Perry, 82, his mother Suzanne Perry, and a stepfather, Keith Morrison.
