David Beckham, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli share warm moments at Wankhede stadium

David Beckham, serving as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, met legendary cricket icons Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli during the Cricket World Cup semifinal at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. 

The trio, known for their exceptional contributions to their respective sports, shared warm exchanges, capturing the attention of fans and media alike.

Beckham, in his role as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, shared glimpses of the meeting on Instagram, expressing gratitude to UNICEF and Sachin Tendulkar for the warm welcome at the Cricket World Cup. 

His post read, "What an incredible atmosphere… Thanks to @unicef and @sachintendulkar for making me so welcome at the Cricket World Cup. These fans have such amazing energy. #CWC23"

During his three-day UNICEF mission in India, Beckham participated in a pre-match discussion with Indian cricket legend Tendulkar, both of whom hold the esteemed position of UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador alongside Kohli.

Beckham's presence at the highly anticipated match between India and New Zealand added star power to the event, drawing cheers from the partisan crowd. 

In one clip from his Instagram stories, the football legend was seen chatting with Kohli, who subsequently achieved a significant milestone in the game by scoring 100 runs and securing his 50th ODI century.

Beyond the cricket field, Beckham's visit extended to a charitable initiative in Gujarat, where he expressed pride in witnessing UNICEF's impactful work supporting underprivileged children and families.
