Kieran Culkin dominated the highly competitive Best Actor award in a television drama category, outshining his TV father, Brian Cox, and brother Jeremy Strong from Succession.

As reported by Vanity Fair, Culkin also edged out Gary Oldman for Slow Horses, Pedro Pascal for The Last of Us, and Dominic West for The Crown in the tough competition, apart from surpassing his Succession cast.

During his acceptance speech, the Father of the Bride actor said, "This is a nice moment for me."

Referring to his 2003 Golden Globe nomination for Igby Goes Down, Culkin also noted, "I was nominated for a Golden Globe like 20 years ago and I remember thinking I’d never be back in the room."

After expressing his gratitude for the award, Culkin glanced at his fellow nominee in the category, Pascal and jokingly told him, "Suck it, Pedro."
