Tori Spelling reflects on lifelong bond with 'family member' Paris Hilton
Beverly Hills 90210 star Tori Spelling shares nostalgic childhood memories of the Hilton family
Television personality Tori Spelling opened up about her deep-rooted connection with Paris Hilton during the Wednesday, episode of her podcast, MisSPELLING.
The fifty-two-year-old actress, best known for her role in Beverly Hills, 90210, described the Hilton family as "like family members," noting that their parents were close friends long before the pair achieved individual global fame.
Spelling reminisced about a shared childhood spent within an elite social circle in Los Angeles, where the Spellings, Hiltons, and Davises would frequently spend holidays like Thanksgiving together in Palm Springs.
One particularly endearing memory Spelling shared involved a young Paris Hilton specifically requesting the actress to look after her.
"She would always say, like, 'Oh my gosh, I just want Tori to babysit me,'" Spelling told her listeners, adding that Hilton is perhaps the only person in her life who truly "looked up" to her in that way.
Spelling expressed that this early dynamic laid the foundation for a "special bond" that has endured for decades. She noted that they share a level of understanding about growing up in the public eye that "some people just can't" comprehend.
Spelling also took a moment to gush over Hilton's current role as a mother to her two children, Phoenix and London. Despite the passing of time and their busy professional lives, the "special bond" remains a constant.
"We just get it on a level that some people can't," Spelling explained, highlighting that their history is woven into the fabric of Hollywood’s social evolution.
As Spelling continues to navigate her own personal and professional chapters in 2026, she remains vocal about the importance of these long-standing, grounded friendships from her formative years.
