Halle Berry grieves death of 'X-Men' co-star Adan Canto: ‘don’t have words’
'X-Men' star Adan Canto died at the age of 42 on January 8, 2024

Halle Berry mourned the death of her X-Men co-star Adan Canto, who died at the age of 42, on Monday.
Taking to her Instagram account on Wednesday, Berry shared a post, in which she paid tribute to Canto, along with a picture of him.
The Die Another Day actress captioned the post, “I don’t have the words just yet…. but my dear sweet friend Adan just gained his wings. Forever, forever in my heart.”
Berry also added the post to her Instagram story with a grey heart emoji in the caption.

In 2020, the 57-year-old actress and Canto worked with each other in a MMA drama Bruised, which was also an initial directional step for Berry.

In the thriller, the Agent Game actor portrayed the character of Desi, who is Berry’s role’s boyfriend and manager.
Both of them were also appeared together in X-Men: Days of Future Past, which was released on May 2023, 2014.
In the film, Berry portrayed the character of mutant Storm and Canto on the other hand played Sunspot.
Adan Canto death:
Adan Canto, a Mexican actor, died at the age of 42 on January 8, 2024, Monday.
According to Deadline, The Devil Below actor died after battling with appendiceal cancer, which he chose to keep private.
A publicist, Jennifer Allen told in a statement to the Associated Press, "Adan had a depth of spirit that few truly knew, those who glimpsed it were changed forever, He will be greatly missed by so many."
