Emma Stone plans to store her 2024 Golden Globe awards in NYC home
Emma Stone received two 2024 Golden Globes awards for her film 'Poor Things'
Emma Stone revealed that she's planning to store her 2024 Golden Globe awards in her New York residence.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE magazine during The Curse season one finale screening, Emma unveiled that her awards are "going back home to New York."
The Amazing Spider-Man actress said, "They might be on an airplane. Shaking. Scared. Unaware of where they are. All alone. Confused, but I hope they’re all right."
Stone won the Best Film Actress 2024 Golden Globes award for her role in Poor Things and also received an award for producing the film, which won Best Picture in a Musical or Comedy.
She also received the 2024 Palm Springs International Film Awards for her performance in Poor Things.
After accepting the award, Stone said, "When I first moved to L.A., I went to one of those general meetings that they sometimes send you to, and an executive told me that for male actors, it's a marathon, not a sprint. And in his eyes, for women, it was a sprint, not a marathon. And that was 20 years ago."
The 35-year-old star added, "And I realize that advice is total garbage because the majority of the women that I look up to in this industry, many of whom are in this room, have proven that as time goes on, life and work only get more interesting and more fulfilling."
About 'Poor Things':
In Poor Things, Stone collaborated again with director Yorgos Lanthimos and writer Tony McNamara, who previously worked together on the Oscar-winning film The Favourite.

The movie follows The Help actress as Bella Baxter, a woman getting a fresh start through an experimental procedure, discovering the wonders and dangers of the world, along with her own sexual awakening.
The film, which was released on December 8, 2023, was a blockbuster hit, earning 2.9 million USD at the box office.
In a recent conversation, during The Hollywood Reporter's annual Actress Roundtable, with other actresses, including Annette Bening, Lily Gladstone, Greta Lee, Carey Mulligan, Margot Robbie, Stone shared insights into her preparation for the role of Bella in Poor Things.
She said, "Unlearn and unprepare. Because she’s in a full-grown healthy body, it’s not like you could even compare it to someone who’s been in an accident and is relearning how to walk or how to move. Looking at videos of toddlers beginning to walk, their bones are still growing and they’re still forming, so she doesn’t have that."
