How 'Beverly Hills, 90210' actor David Gail died?

Beverly Hills, 90210 star David Gail cause of death has been revealed,  who passed away on January 21, 2024.

As reported by PEOPLE, David’s family representative said in a statement that the actor died because of "complications from sudden cardiac arrest."

He told, "The family has no reason to suspect the cause of his death was anything but heart failure."

The statement continued, "David will be remembered for his love of acting and his absolute passion and dedication to his friends and family. He possessed a unique quality that made everyone feel special in his presence."

Emergency responders tried CPR and defibrillation after finding the Port Charles actor unresponsive, but unfortunately, these efforts were unsuccessful.

Moreover, David, who died at the age of 58, was on life support for several days before being declared dead.

In the statement shared on Monday, David's mother, Mary, also talked about her son's unexpected passing.

She said, "We are extremely touched by the outpouring of love from David’s dedicated fans and colleagues. We are grateful for all the support received during this very difficult time."

David Gail's sister announced the news of actor's death:

The news of David's death was initially announced by his sister, Katie Colmenares, remembering him as her "wingman" and "best friend."

In an Instagram post, she wrote alongside a photo with the actor, "There’s barely been even a day in my life when you were not with me by my side always my wingman always my best friend."

She further noted, "Ready to face anything and anyone w me the bears will never be the same but I will hold you so tight every day."

"In my heart you gorgeous loving amazing fierce human being missing you every second of every day forever there will never be another," Katir concluded.
