Snoop Dogg, the legendary rapper, shared heartwarming insights into his role as a grandfather during a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.

The 52-year-old artist discussed his 12 grandchildren with host Jennifer Hudson, expressing his love for each one.

Snoop, father to sons Cordell, Corde, Julian, and daughter Cori, revealed that his oldest grandson, Zion Broadus, celebrated his ninth birthday, describing him as the one who initially nicknamed him 'Papa Noop' during his younger years.

"He used to call me Papa Noop, because he couldn't say Snoop, so he started calling me Papa Noop. And then as time went by, he learned how to say Snoop, so now I'm Papa Snoop," he said.

The rapper emphasized the unique qualities of each grandchild, emphasizing that despite their different ages and personalities, he loves them all equally.

Snoop shared the joy of attending Zion's birthday party and reflected on the special moments and connections he shares with his grandchildren.

He said, "actually, my oldest grandson, his birthday is today so I'm on my way to his birthday party when I leave here."

In a previous interview, Snoop highlighted the significance of being a positive influence for his grandkids, drawing inspiration from the meaningful relationship he had with his late grandfather.

He said, "my grandpa was my best friend and for me to be that for my grandkids is showing that I actually did well and I was able to outlive the circumstances."
