Eric Carmen, lead Raspberries vocalist, breathes his last at 74

Eric Carmen was an American singer. and known as the lead vocalist of the Raspberries passed away at the age of 74.
The All by Myself hitmaker’s death was confirmed by his wife Amy in a shared statement on his website, as she revealed that her husband died in his sleep over the weekend.
As per the statement, “It is with tremendous sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Eric Carmen.”
The statement further added, “Our sweet, loving, and talented Eric passed away in his sleep over the weekend. It brought him great joy to know, that for decades, his music touched so many and will be his lasting legacy.”

“Please respect the family’s privacy as we mourn our enormous loss. ‘Love Is All That Matters… Faithful and Forever,'" Amy wrote in a statement.
However, the cause of death was not disclosed yet.
Carmen got fame as the lead vocalist of the 1970s band Raspberries, and his band had hits such as Let’s Pretend and Go All the Way.
According to USA Today, All by Myself, one of his most beloved tracks, featured in several movies such as To Die For, Clueless, Almost Famous, and Bridget Jones's Diary.
