Sam Taylor-Johnson quipped about the possibility of directing a Bond film herself
Sam Taylor-Johnson humorously addressed speculations that her husband, Aaron Taylor-Johnson is in the running for iconic role of next James Bond.
As per PEOPLE report, Sam, known for directing Fifty Shades of Grey, quipped about the possibility of directing a Bond film herself, given her husband's potential casting.
On The Johnathan Ross Show, she said, "You mean that I might direct a Bond film? The first woman director, Carry on speculating. He’d be great."
The rumours started earlier this month when The Sun reported that Aaron ad been offered the role of the suave spy, which would mean taking over from Daniel Craig, who has portrayed the character in five films over the past 15 years.

However, Aaron Taylor-Johnson has remained tight-lipped about the possibility, focusing instead on promoting his current projects, the speculation has not waned.
The Bullet Train actor avoided question during an interview in August 2023, stating, "I just focus on the things I can have in my hands right now, What’s in front of me right now."
Notably, Pierce Brosnan, who famously played Bond from 1995 to 2002, recently voiced his support for Aaron, stating, "I think the man has the chops and the talent and the charisma to play Bond, very much so."
