Julia Garner joined the cast of 'Fantastic Four' as Silver Surfer
Julia Garner and the Marvel cinematic universe have teamed up for the highly anticipated Fantastic Four film
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that the Inventing Anna star is set to join the cast of the superhero film and she will portray the iconic character Shalla-Bal, a Silver Surfer variant.
Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing are the cast members of the film, and it will be directed by WandaVision's Matt Shakman.
The movie is set to release on July 25, 2025, and there are speculations that the movie will shoot in the theme of the 1960s, the era in which writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby first introduced the Fantastic Four, the super team that launched the Marvel Universe in comics.

Writer Eric Pearson, who wrote Black Widow and Thor: Ragnarok, is also part of the movie.
Garner is all set to mesmerize the audience with her new character like she did in her role as Ruth Langmore in the Netflix series Ozark.
Leading the television series Inventing Anna, which is based on the real-life con artist Anna Delvey, garnered her an Emmy nomination as well.
Her next project is The Wolf Man, which Blumhouse and Universal are releasing early next year.
