The Partner Track star, Arden Cho opened up about her scary experience on Instagram post. 

The actress revealed that she was walking her dog when a man shouted racist insults at her and threatened her and her pet. 

The Teen Wolf star was very scared and grabbed her dog, running away as fast as she could.

Arden faced this harassment during a time when violence against Asian people was increasing and this incident brought back painful memories of when she was attacked and hurt badly as a child.

The Chicago Med actress concluded the post, “I did not realize how much that incident shaped my life. How much fear I have always lived with.

Lucy Liu

During an interview with the Seattle Times, Lucy Liu recalled being just 9 years old when she experienced racism.

The Watching the Detectives star said, “I was with my mother and she was asking somebody who worked there a question and he was very condescending and rude to my mother because she had a very strong accent.”

“I remember being really angry and as a child you do not ever speak up, thinking, my mother knows how to speak two languages and you only know how to speak one,” the Old Guy actress added.

Lucy further explained that, she felt angry and frustrated when she saw what happened to her. 

Even a small thing like asking where the toothpaste is should not be treated rudely and The American actress stands up for what is right and fights against unfair treatment.

Francia Raisa

Two years ago, the Beyond Paradise actress, Francia Raisa shared an Instagram story where she brome silence about her disturbing experience.

Francia said, “I was just on the 405 and I got stuck in that stupid Trump rally and they f***king boxed me in and they are pointing at me, laughing at me, saying, Ha ha.”

“I was visibly shaken and literally I almost crashed because they would not let me out, I could have f***king died right now as that was so f***king dangerous, pointing at me and laughing at a Mexican that was really f***king dangerous,” the Grown-ish star added.

Shay Mitchell

The Pretty Little Liars actress grew up hearing stories about her mixed-heritage parents faced racism, getting mean looks and being refused service at restaurants.

Shay Mitchell told Women’s Health, “I also saw it in real life, my mom would get derogatory remarks like, are you the cleaning lady? are you the nanny? And she was like, No, but what is your issue if I was?”

The You star faced racist comments, “In school I was bullied, I do get questions like, are you going to go clean the bathrooms.”

Priyanka Chopra
