Udit Narayan breaks silence on controversial video

Indian playback singer, Udit Narayan, has addressed the ongoing buzz, following a surfaced video of him engaging in 'immoral' conduct with a female fan, during a live performance.
The 69-year-old has stated that this incident should be overlooked, emphasizing that he has a decent personality.
During an interview, OODHNI vocalist remarked that fan frenzy moments often leads to such incidents.
"Hum log aise nahi hain, hum decent log hai." (We are not like this; we are decent people), added Aditya Narayan's father.
He explained that some fans express their admiration in different ways, whether through handshakes or other gestures, and questioned the need to make a big issue out of it.
The playback singer also asserted that such incidents happen at crowded events despite security presence, and requested people not to bring a fuss out of the situation.
He said, "Uspe itna dhyaan nahi dena chahiye (It shouldn't be given so much attention)."
Ranjana Narayan Jha's husband claimed that there must be a agenda or motive behind the ongoing controversy, might be to ruin his image.
While conversing with HindustanTimes, Udit Narayan shared that his son Aditya Narayan refrains from indulging in controversies, and some people might want to create unnecessary drama.
