Shirley Manson dumping off popular 'Garbage' dress
Shirley Manson’s sudden move is a bid to raise money for charity

Shirley Manson makes unexpected announcement of selling off her iconic dress she wore in Garbage's I Think I’m Paranoid music video.
The Scottish singer-songwriter took to Instagram and shared a picture of the dress and announced that she donated the costume to the Give A Frock auction - hosted by Give A F*** Los Angeles and Julien’s Auctions in order to raise money to help those affected by the devastating California wildfires which has claimed 29 lives.
The 58-year-old singer in her caption wrote, "I wore this polka dot dress - made by stylist and designer @jenniferelster - during the filming of our video for 'I think I’m Paranoid'."
The Stupid Girl hitmaker went on to say, "It was shot in a studio in Los Angeles by legendary fashion photographer @matthewrolstonstudio . I have kept it in a cardboard box all these years hoping she could be of use to someone at some point. Now nearly 30 years later, she has leapt back into action.
"Bidding on this dress and other amazing pop culture items has already begun @juliens_auctions . The auction closes on February 25th. All proceeds to go to helping those affected by the LA Wildfires."
Before concluding, Shirley Manson wrote, "Thank you for your support in advance. We love you Los Angeles."
