Prince Harry’s royal rift with Princess Eugenie takes dramatic new turn

While Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie were reported to have strained their close relationship in recent previous reports, new claims to the contrary have now emerged.

Royal sources have told PEOPLE that the two royal cousins remain as close as ever, despite an earlier account of a falling out which was claimed by Piers Morgan.

In an episode of his show Piers Morgan Uncensored in early April, the British media personality had revealed that the Duke of Sussex went “completely ballistic” when he discovered paparazzi shots of his cousin during a night out with Morgan.

It is important to note that the journalist and host has been a vehement critic of Harry and his wife Meghan Markle for years.

However, a royal insider recently reported, “The Duke remains close to Princess Eugenie. They always have and always will be.”

As King Charles’ youngest son and niece are well-known for being some of the closest royal family members, the earliest public account of their relationship was showcased in an episode of the Duke’s Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan.

During an episode of the show, the couple fondly recalled a memorable Halloween night out with Eugenie and her now-husband Jack Brooksbank from 2016.

Furthermore, the Princess of York is the member of the royal family who made an appearance in the series.

Most recently, Prince Harry along with Meghan Markle met with Princess Eugenie in Portugal during 2023, where she spends some of her time due to her husband’s work.
