John Krasinski shares harsh reality behind 'PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive'

John Krasinski has come forward and reflected on being the People’s 'Sexiest Man Alive' and shared some wisdom and advice for the next person, after receiving the title in 2024.

During the premiere of Fountain of Youth, held at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, on May 19, the 45-year-old star spoke to People and gave some tips after having experienced what comes with being labeled as the 'Sexiest Man Alive.'

"Buckle up. It is a hard crown to wear, but you'll be alright. Just stay focused. Take a deep breath, you'll get through it," he stated in an encouraging message.

Further into the conversation, The Office alum shared that his two daughters Hazel and Violet whom he shares with his wife Emily Blunt, had recently formed a friendship with the director of Apple Tv’s mystery film Guy Ritchie.

"Who's not obsessed with Guy? I don't know. I mean, he's got a heck of an accent," he said.

The A Quiet Place actor went on to praise the 56-year-old English film director for how he treated his children, further saying, "He's so gregarious. He's got the best vibe. He's the nicest, sweetest, calmest person, and he talks to them like adults, and so he wasn't talking to them like kids."

"He was asking 'em what they wanted to eat and did they want him to cook for them and all that stuff, and they just thought they were in the movie. I think they thought this was their big break," John playfully said.
