Shakira suffers on-stage fall mid performance during Montreal concert

Shakira accidentally slipped on stage while performing Whenever, Whenever at Bell Centre in Montreal last week.

In a now-viral video, first shared on one of Shakira's fan pages on Monday May 26, the Hip’s don’t lie hitmaker could be seen losing her balance and falling on the ground.

Much to everyone's surprise, the 48-year-old dusted herself and grace fully continued the performance during her Las Mujeres Ya No LIoran world Tour seventh show.

Soon after the video garnered traction on social media, Shakira’s fans flooded the comment section with words of praises over her brave move after this unexpected mishap.

One fan wrote, "your falls will never leave the queen that you are we love you Shak"

Another added, "a great example of resilience!"

"She slayed the recovery tho", a third commented.

"Shakira fell, served floor work, and kept it moving, the stage belongs to her" one user noted.

This is the second time Shakira's concert has hit with an unexpected mishap, on May 15, the El Jefe singer's New Jersey show sparked measles outbreak concern.

The New Jersey’s health department had cautioned that some individuals who attended Shakira’s concert had  a possible exposure to measles.
