King Charles’ summit with Donald Trump already in grave danger?
Mass protests are reportedly planned for Trump’s UK state visit

King Charles is preparing to host President Donald Trump for his state visit to the UK in September this year.
However, new leaks about the planned meeting between the British and the American establishment could potentially jeopardise the situation.
According to The Telegraph, “Protesters are planning to descend on London en masse on the first day of Donald Trump’s state visit to the UK.”
The latest report comes only a day after Buckingham Palace confirmed the dates for Trump’s upcoming visit, which is scheduled between September 17-19.
As the Palace also announced that the King will meet with the American head of state at Windsor Castle, the Stop Trump Coalition in the UK have disclosed their plans for “organising a national demonstration on Wednesday September 17 in the capital, as well as near Windsor Castle.”
While Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s official spokesman refused to divulge further details about Trump’s appointment with the reigning monarch, saying, “That’s a matter obviously for the Palace and the president in relation to the dates of the visit, which have obviously been set out and further details on the programme will be set out in due course.”
However, he took the time to emphasise that the visit’s dates “have been set out by the Palace.”
Notably, Donald Trump’s meeting with King Charles will commence during the US President’s unprecedented second state visit, as he was previously hosted by Queen Elizabeth II during his presidency’s first term.
