Queen Camilla celebrates her 78th birthday today and Buckingham Palace has released a striking new portrait of her majesty to mark the occasion.
Dressed in a bright blue dress with a cheerful pattern, the Queen consort could be seen with a regal smile adorned on her face.
While she also sported gold jewellery in the form of earrings, rings, and bracelets.
“Ahead of Her Majesty’s 78th birthday tomorrow, a new picture of The Queen has been released by Buckingham Palace,” the caption by the royal family’s official Instagram stated.
While it further revealed, “The image was taken this month, in the garden at Raymill, Her Majesty’s private home in Wiltshire, by Chris Jackson.”
The portrait was credited to royal photographer for Getty Images, Chris Jackson, who has had the privilege of photographing various members of the Crown on several occasions.
Besides Camilla’s birthday portrait, the media professional also recently captured the now infamous moment when French President Emmanuel Macron winked Kate Middleton’s way during the royal banquet at Windsor.
Meanwhile, ahead of her birthday, Queen Camilla paid a thoughtful visit to the Children’s Hospice South West on Wednesday.
While there, the Queen was also recognised with the prestigious title of Vice Admiral of the United Kingdom by the Royal Navy.
