Gywneth Paltrow’s honest reaction to Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston’s marriage exposed

Gwyneth Paltrow was briefly engaged to Brad Pitt in the late 1990s before the pair fizzled out and the actor married Jennifer Aniston.

Now, a new biography about the Iron Man actress, penned by Amy Odell, has lifted the curtain on her true feelings about her ex-fiance’s first marriage.

In Gwyneth: A Biography, the author wrote about an incident from the 2000 Toronto International Film Festival, where the Goop founder lost her cool with members of the press regarding questions about her former relationship.

“The reporter then asked how she felt about Brad Pitt marrying Jennifer Aniston [in July of that year]. ‘Are you really asking me this question?’ Gwyneth replied, her eyes now ‘daggers’. ‘I can’t comment on this kind of thing’,” an excerpt from the latest book revealed.

Moreover, the author of the biography claimed that the 52-year-old actress and entrepreneur “confided to friends that she’d felt sad” when she discovered that the Moneyball actor was getting married to the Friends alum.

“(She was also fond of telling them that Brad ‘has terrible taste in women.’),” another juicy tidbit detailed.

Furthermore, Amy Odell has written that Gwyneth Paltrow ended her short-lived engagement to Brad Pitt based on a friend, makeup artist Kevin Aucoin’s advice, after she admitted to him that her fiancé at the time “seemed to feel threatened by her success and all the attention she received.”

Gwyneth and Brad subsequently parted ways in 1997 and the Oscar-winning actor married Jennifer Aniston in July 2000.
