Taylor Swift drops bombshell response to Matty Healy mom’s sharp remarks

Taylor Swift recently strikes back at Denise Welch, the mother of her ex-boyfriend, Matty Healy, who rolled out explosive remarks about the singer.

A source close to the Anti-Hero hitmaker, told Daily Mail, in this regard, that Swift has taken a high road in the matter.

According to the tipster, the 35-year-old singer has “nothing” but respect for her ex-boyfriend's mother.

“If there's one thing to know about the pop star, it's that when someone swings low, she comes back swinging harder,” the insider dished out.

It further maintained, “Taylor respected Denise and will continue to do so, as this will go away very quickly.”

During an interview earlier this week, the English actress in one of the episodes of Watch What Happens Live, told host Andy Cohen that although her 36-year-old son never married the But Daddy I Love Him songstress, she was glad that Swift was not her daughter-in-law.

“Not being her mother-in-law is a role that I am glad that I lost,” said Welch, describing their relationship as “tricky” because the Love Story hitmaker writes about her relationships in her songs.

For the unversed, Taylor Swift and Matty Healy had a short-lived romance in 2023.
