Lindsay Lohan reveals why she signed up for ‘Freakier Friday’

Lindsay Lohan recently revealed the reason of signing up for Freakier Friday, which she will star along Jamie Lee Curtis.

The 39-year-old actress while talking about what drew her to the 2003’s Freaky Friday sequel, in an interview told Empire magazine that it was the Halloween actress who approached her about making the movie

The Our Little Secret actress recounted, “She (Curtis) said, 'What do you think, if we do Freaky Friday 2?”

Lohan to her surprise, responded, “I was like, 'I'm in, it just has to be the right script.' That was the big thing for both of us. We wanted it to live up to all the expectations.”

The Mean Girls star, who has been friends with the 66-year-old actress since the original movie released, also spilled how the duo would exercise on the set.

According to the Parent Trap actress, would make her costar do wall sits between the takes.

“She'd be like, 'Are we really doing this right now?', and I'm like, 'Yes, it's good for us,'” said the Irish Wish actress.

Both Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis will reprise their role as daughter and mother in Freakier Friday, which is scheduled for release next month on August 8, 2025.
