Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's 100M Netflix deal takes shocking turn
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's Netflix dream crashes?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s much-lauded $100 million Netflix pact is said to be gasping for breath, with some insiders quietly declaring it already deceased.
The streaming behemoth now possesses “no appetite for new offerings” from the couple, the fallout of unimpressive releases and plunging viewership, the whispers say.
Colleagues of the platform report that Netflix’s top brass is currently “merely counting down the end-credits” on whatever episodes remain to be delivered.
Although their documentary launched in December 2022 with explosive headlines and a strong opening number, the projects that followed failed to ignite or keep the audience engaged.
“The Sussexes were billed as magnets for buzz, yet the fascination dissipated almost overnight,” one veteran told me. “The brand has not performed.”
Stepping away from royal duties in March 2020, the couple envisioned a slate of documentaries, features, and scripted series as the backbone of their independent brand.
Creative stalls, behind-the-scenes clashes, and a lukewarm press reception have reportedly led Netflix to reconsider the entire cooperation.
With the final months ticking down and “little appetite” for a follow-up, the brand’s Hollywood runway appears decidedly narrower.
For Harry and Meghan, the collapse may deliver a sharp dent to their West Coast credibility; for Netflix, it would simply be the curtains drawn on a royal wager that failed to deliver any royal flush.
