King Charles reveals health update in rare informal moment

King Charles recently had a quick but poignant interaction with a public member at one of his latest engagements.

While visiting the Jockey Club Rooms with Queen Camilla on Tuesday, the King was asked about updates on his ongoing cancer treatment by one member of the public, as he shook hands with the crowds gathered outdoors.

The 76-year-old monarch then proceeded to tell the 54-year-old Lee Harman that it was “just one of those things”.

As revealed by Harman, “I asked him how he was, and he said he was feeling a lot better now and that it was ‘just one of those things’.”

While the civilian further reported that the King later “asked me how I was and I said ‘I’m all good’, I got the all clear from cancer last year.”

Meanwhile, King Charles was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer last year, following which he took a brief time off from his public engagements until April 2024.
