Meghan Markle, Prince Harry determined to do ‘more TV projects’ despite Netflix loss

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are turning a new leaf amid the collapse of their lucrative deal with Netflix.

Earlier, it was reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not be renewed by Netflix in their deal worth millions of dollars.

“The deal is done: no more shows will be made. Netflix feel they’ve got all they can from the couple,” The Sun reported via an insider.

However, a source close to the Sussex couple has now revealed that they feel rejuvenated to take on more media projects elsewhere.

As quoted by Page Six, “There are more TV projects coming soon with both the Duke and the Duchess.”

Moreover, the Duchess is confident in the impact of her lifestyle brand, As Ever, which continues to grow.

“The brand continues to evolve with new products that align with her vision for quality lifestyle goods at accessible price points,” the source further said.

Notably, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s deal with Netflix came to a reported close amid the former’s show, With Love, Meghan, tanking on the streamer’s semi-annual What We Watched report.

With the series ranking at number 383 out of 7,500 titles, and a second season on the horizon, it has been speculated that the Sussexes were not proving very profitable for the digital giant.
