‘The Boys’ premieres first look at season five in exclusive footage
Exclusive look from season five of ‘The Boys’ debuted at San Diego Comic Con

The Boys is coming back for a fifth season and the show’s exclusive first look recently premiered, but only for the crowds present at the 2025 Comic Con in San Diego.
A teaser from the satirical series’ upcoming season debuted at the end of Gen V season two’s panel at the event, on Friday afternoon.
According to Variety, “It was a brief teaser, packed with tons of superhero violence and gore — as fans of ‘The Boys’ have come to expect — and quick looks at the new and returning cast members.”
Furthermore, the brief clip featured appearances from the show’s executive producer and comedian-actor Seth Rogen, as well as a Supernatural reunion between the show’s cast member Jensen Ackles and his former co-stars, Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins.
While Rogen has made various cameo appearances in the Prime Video series before, Padalecki and Collins will be making their first appearances in the next season, though their roles are not currently known.
Notably, The Boys and Supernatural also share the same showrunner, Eric Kripke, who had previously roped in another alum from the CW show, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, to appear on the last season of the superhero themed show.
Meanwhile, season five of The Boys is slated to release at some point in 2026.
