'Griselda' star Sofía Vergara stays strong during second surgery

Sofía Vergara has gone under the knife again.

Taking to Instagram, on July 25, 2025, the 53-year-old star shared a health update with her fans, revealing she had undergone a second knee surgery, a year after getting the first one.

The Modern Family alum gave her supporters a peek into her recovery, posting a hospital selfie in a robe, as she smiled at the camera. The next slide of the post showed her bandaged knee.

"It's done! Round 2," she penned in the caption of the post, along with prayer hands emoji and two hearts.

Fans and friends quickly rushed to the comment section to show their support for the Colombian and American actress.

"Wishing you speedy recovery," Patrick Schwarzenegger penned.

"You did it!" Heidi Klum left an encouraging message for Sofía.

Her fans also went on to send their well wishes, saying, "Get well soon."

Another wrote, "Sending lots of love."

Though the Griselda star has kept the details behind the reason of getting the surgery under the wraps, Sofía had shared in April 2024, that she had another knee operation and was looked after by her then-boyfriend, Justin Saliman, an orthopedic surgeon.
