From quick proposals to waiting years before saying 'I do,' these stars show that real relationships are built on patience, trust, and support.

Michelle Yeoh and Jean Todt:

Michelle Yeoh, an Oscar winning actress, first met former Ferrari CEO Jean Todt first in 2004, at a Ferrari event in Shanghai.

Just a month later, Todt proposed to the actress, and she said yes.

However, the pair waited 19 years to tie the knot. On July 27, 2023, surrounded by family and friends in Geneva, they finally said “I do.”

JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers:

JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers first met on the set of The Bachelorette in 2016. The first proposal took place on the season 12 finale of the ABC series, while the second happened in August 2019.

After several delays in their marriage due to Covid, the two tied knot in May 2022.

“Even though I don’t get to marry you todayyyyy @jrodgers11, I know it will be all the more worth the wait,” Fletcher wrote on Instagram. “2021, we reallyyyyy can’t wait for you.”

Amy Adams and Darren Le Gallo:

Amy Adams and artist Darren Le Gallo first crossed paths in an acting class in 2001.

The actress told Vanity Fair that "I got to know him outside of class and I just found him to be such a genuine, caring person … He demanded that we go out on a date. He said, 'I know you're getting over this [other] guy, but I'm taking you out on Wednesday, and I was like, 'And so you are!' "

After a long engagement and the birth of their daughter, Aviana, the couple finally got married on May 2, 2015, in a private ceremony in California.

Le Gallo reflected in 2023, "My wife's support has meant everything to me throughout our relationship.

"She has really good instincts. Our partner's support means a lot to us," he added.

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart:

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart met in 2002 at the Golden Globes. Shortly after their first meeting the two began dating.

In an Interview with Hello! magazine, Ford shared that he is in love and said, “Romantic love is one of the most exciting and fulfilling kinds of love and I think there is a potential for it at any stage of your life. I was not surprised that I was able to fall in love, and I wasn't surprised that I did."

The pair dated for seven years before marrying in a private ceremony on June 15, 2010. Ford adopted Flockhart’s son, Liam, cementing their family bond.

Tina Turner and Erwin Bach:

The late Tina Turner found her soulmate in music executive Erwin Bach, in the most unexpected place, an airport in Germany in 1985.

The couple dated for 27 years before marrying in 2013. In 2017, Bach saved Turner’s life by donating a kidney during her health battle.

Turner passed away in 2023, but her love story with Bach remains one of resilient  and devotion.
