Here are some of the biggest lawsuits you possibly didn’t know about:

Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s professional relationship while working on It Ends with Us turned turbulent after premiere in 2024.

The 38-year-old actress filed a complaint against the actor and director of the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel, accusing him for alleged sexual harassment.

Less than two weeks later, The New York Times reported on the lawsuit and accused him of leading a smear campaign. Justin in response sued the paper for libel.

On January 16, 2025, the 41-year-old star then went on to file a second lawsuit against the Gossip Girl actress and her husband Ryan Reynolds.

In a staggering $400 million claim, the lawsuit alleges that Blake and the Deadpool actor attempted to take complete creative control of the film away from Justin and Wayfarer Studios.

It also accuses her of leveraging "her power as a wealthy celebrity to take creative control of the film."

Although the court date is set to March 2026, the case continues to make headlines with shocking updates.

Lindsay Lohan

After enduring media scrutiny in the early 2000s, Lindsay Lohan’s car crash in 2012 brought her to court over a personal injury lawsuit.

Truck driver James Johnson sued the Mean Girls star back in 2013, alleging that she caused him injuries when her Porsche rear-ended his 18 wheeler on California’s Pacific Coast Highway.

However, in 2014, the two reached an out of court settlement for an undisclosed amount.

Alec Baldwin

Back in 2012, Alec Baldwin faced a personal injury lawsuit after getting into a heated physical altercation with New York Daily News photographer Marcus Santos.

He was at the New York City court with his now wife Hilaria Baldwin, trying to obtain a marriage license when the cameraman reportedly moved in too close, prompting the 30 Rock actor to allegedly strike him in the chin.

What followed the already complicated situation was a he said she said battle with Marcus insisting Alec had punched him and the 67-year-old actor allegedly expressed that he had only reacted the way he did because the photographer made them feel unsafe.

Even though Marcus and his lawyers were adamant on seeking justice, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office chose not to move ahead with the prosecution.
