Celebrities who ditched sugar for fitness and wellness
Find out which stars have quit sugar from their diets

Below are the celebrities who have eliminated sugar from their diets in order to sustain their fitness and healthy lifestyles.
Kourtney Kardashian
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star revealed that she decided to entirely eliminate sugar from her diet.
“I always try to avoid sugar — especially refined sugar — for so many reasons,” Kourtney wrote on her website.
She added, “First, sugar is addictive and I notice that after I eat it, I need it. Sugar doesn’t sustain you when you actually need energy, like for a workout. Also, when I eat sugar, I find that more cellulite appears.”
Adele
Prior to the start of her worldwide tour, the Hello hitmaker credited her Australian personal trainer, Pete Geracino, for significantly helping her improve her fitness and energy levels
“I was trying to get some stamina for my tour so I lost a bit of weight," she said, adding, “I used to drink ten cups a day with two sugars in each so was on 20 sugars a day. Now I don’t drink it and have more energy than ever."
Kate Hudson
The mom-of-two reflected on her sugar intake when she realised she couldn't get through the day without it.
"That was an eye opener for me, I realised I was craving it like an addict around 4pm every day. I would crave something sweet and it hit me how much sugar we really eat,” Kate said.
Now, she is inclined towards a high-alkaline diet, which includes tofu, nuts, fruits and vegetables.
Alec Baldwin
The actor decided to stop consuming sugar once he was diagnosed with pre-diabetes in 2011.
"I just have to eat less. So, I'm very conscious of that. But sugar was the real killer for me, that was the problem,” Alec told Access Hollywood.
He added, "I stopped eating refined sugars, desserts and sweets."
Gwyneth Paltrow
The Iron Man actress has eliminated and significantly reduced sugar from her diet in order to curb inflammation.
In a 2010 newsletter she wrote for her GOOP subscribers, she shared that sugar triggers anxiety, makes you moody, and eventually leaves you feeling exhausted,
