Jennifer Lopez shows off brown Bordeaux nail shade as fall’s top trend

Jennifer Lopez, the global superstar known for her music, movies and flawless style is once again setting trends — this time, with her nails.

The 56-year-old actress and singer has always been a fashion inspiration and her latest manicure is the perfect idea for fall.

Jennifer recently showed off a rich brown Bordeaux nail shade that is quickly becoming the season’s top trend as the deep reddish-brown tone feels cozy, elegant and just dramatic enough to stand out.

While still being classy as she wore the shade while promoting her new movie musical Kiss of the Spider Woman, proving that the colour works for both red carpet events and everyday wear.

The Dance Again songstress’ nails were medium-length and had a smooth “squoval” shape, a mix of square and oval which gives a soft clean look.

Celebrity manicurist Tom Bachik created the style by mixing two gel polishes one in a Bordeaux colour called “Never Bordeaux You” and another in a sheer black called “Midnight Shadow." The combination gave Jennifer’s nails extra depth and dimension.

The manicure was finished with a clear glossy top coat to add shine and protect the look and this dark wine inspired shade is perfect for autumn because it’s bold but not too harsh and it adds a touch of glamour without overpowering an outfit and the American actress paired the nails with a tan outfit and smoky makeup tying her entire look together beautifully.
