Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake: A Snowy Surprise

Jessica Biel revealed on The Late Late Show with James Corden that Justin Timberlake’s proposal caught her completely off guard during a snowy Montana getaway in 2011.

"We were in Montana on a piece of property that we owned at the time. We had snowboarded all day. It was in the middle of the winter. Waist-high snow. We were head-to-toe snowboarding outfits, hats, gloves, everything," Biel recalled.

She added with a laugh, "And we go up to the property to just check out how the foundation is looking. And all of a sudden, he gets down onto his knees and just sinks into the snow. And then he looks up at me and holds up this ring and it was the most lovely, surprising, hilarious …"

James Corden teased Timberlake, "Bold to go [snowboarding] with a ring in your pocket. That is not a decision I would make. That can only backfire."

Riz Ahmed and Fatima Farheen Mirza: A Scrabble Proposal

Oscar winner Riz Ahmed went for a playful approach while proposing to his now wife writer Fatima Farheen Mirza during lockdown.

After a park picnic, he popped the question, but her first reaction was disbelief, "she looked up and was like, 'You're joking.'"

Knowing her love of words, Ahmed spelled out "Will you marry me?"

Emily Ratajkowski’s now-husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, didn’t exactly come prepared when he proposed at Minetta Tavern in New York City.

But Bear-McClard got creative. "And then he took the paper clip that the bill was paid with and made me a ring which I actually thought was really romantic."
