Jennifer Aniston shines at Elle event with stylish nod to iconic Rachel Green

Jennifer Aniston stepped into the spotlight with effortless confidence, giving a subtle nod to her beloved Friends character, Rachel Green.

The Morning Show star arrived at Elle’s Women in Hollywood event on Monday, November 17 as one of the evening’s honorees and her look was nothing short of stunning.

Aniston was wearing one of her signature black dresses, she chose a full length vintage Ralph Lauren gown with a halter neckline and a soft shimmer that added a romantic glow.

Her classic middle parted golden tresses cascading down her shoulders, while in the makeup department the actress opted for a soft glam look.

The choice of designer even felt like a flash to Green, who famously worked as a Ralph Lauren buyer on Friends.

Aniston has never hesitated to reflect on Green’s iconic hair moments as speaking to Elle Aniston revisited the choppy shoulder length cut known as “the Rachel”, saying, “It had a beautiful six months that’s lasted 30 years.”

The 56-year-old star shared a similar thought back in 2013, telling Marie Claire that “The Rachel was…. horrible and high maintenance.”

Though the Horrible Bosses actress walked the red carpet solo, Elle reported that her boyfriend, hypnotherapist Jim Curtis was expected to join her later.

For the unversed, PEOPLE confirmed their relationship in July, and earlier this month a source shared that Jennifer Aniston is “very happy and in a great place” with Jim Curtis.
