Taylor Swift recently made shocking revelation about getting sick during her hit Eras Tour.

The Life of A Showgirl singer opened up that she performed with stomach bugs on more than one occasion on her record-breaking global tour between early 2023 and December 2024 during an appearance of latest episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on December 10.

“For me, when I’m on tour, especially the Eras Tour, I just make a decision at the beginning of the tour that there’s no option to not go on stage,” said the 35-year-old.

Therefore, Taylor mentioned that there was no option left for her to give subpar performance thinking like, "'I’ll do this show at a level six tonight.’ That’s not an option," she stated.

The Cruel Summer crooner shared that even if she had the "stomach flu" which she had "multiple times" during her tour, her goal was, "never let them know you are sick".

Elsewhere on the show, Taylor explained how she got over her "physical pain" during her tour.

The singer-songwriter disclosed that it was her costumes, even her "Versace bodysuit," which she donned to start her each show in the Lover era.

“I was constantly in a lot of physical pain, but when I put that on, I was just like, ‘No, this is popping. I’m doing it,'” she added.

Meanwhile, Taylor shared why it was important to her to keep up with her scheduled shows.

"It’s also about knowing there’s something bigger than you, and for me on that tour, the bigger thing was these people have saved up their money," she confessed.

Taylor further said that her fans "have rearranged their schedules, they have arranged transportation, they’ve had parties, they’ve created costumes, they’ve made sweatshirts, they’ve made friendship bracelets".

And for this reason, she decided to keep doing her show nonstop.

Now, one year later, Taylor is all set to reflect on her journey in Disney+’s The End of an Era, a six-part behind-the-scenes docuseries, which will premiere on December 12.
