Vin Diesel confirms major collaboration with Cristiano Ronaldo
Vin Diesel and Cristiano Ronaldo form thrilling combination in new announcement
Vin Diesel has revealed that Cristian Ronaldo will feature in the upcoming installment of the Fast & Furious franchise.
Slated for release in 2027, Fast X: Part 2 will see Diesel reprising his role as Dominic “Dom” Toretto, with the footballing star set to join ranks.
“Everyone asked, would he be in the Fast mythology… I gotta tell you he is a real one. We wrote a role for him…,” the action star wrote on his Instagram alongside a shot of himself with Ronaldo.
According to Variety, “In addition to Diesel, the eleventh and supposed final film in the action-packed franchise will feature returning stars Dwayne Johnson (Luke Hobbs), Jason Statham (Deckard Shaw), Jason Momoa (Dante Reyes), Jordana Brewster (Mia Torretto), Michelle Rodriguez (Letty Ortiz), and more.”
In notable news, Diesel had also confirmed in June that Paul Walker’s character Brian O’Connor will return for the action series’ 11th film. The character was last seen in 2015’s Furious 7, with some of his remaining scenes being shot by his younger brother, Cody Beau Walker, since he had tragically passed away in 2013.
While Cristiano Ronaldo is yet to confirm his participation in Fast X: Part 2, he will likely be seen on the big screen when the film premieres in April 2027.
